Viviane D'Avilla is a documentary filmmaker, director and photographer. She specialized in conceptual and documentary photography at the Parque Lage School of Visual Arts and at the International Center of Photography in New York. Viviane is represented by the galleries ArtSpace in New York and Mentana in Italy. In 2017, she won the award for best photography at the Florence Biennale in Italy. Her most recent project as a director, GOPI, a documentary about an intersex young man in India, has won awards in Brazil and abroad. It was selected for the competitive section of the Rio Festival and won the award for best film at the Bangalore Festival in India. Viviane has started her latest authorial project ODU, o caminho ancestral, which addresses the theme of the cultural and ancestral connection between Brazil and Africa. Viviane is currently co-directing the film about the life and work of Luiz Melodia.

Paulo Dimantas is a director, screenwriter and editor. His most recent works are the documentaries GOPI - winner of the Bangalore International Film Festival, India. In 2018, he produced and directed the children's show Lololendi - winner of the FITA festival in the popular jury category. He worked as an assistant director for O2 and Goritzia Filmes, now Zola, in several commercial films. As a screenwriter, he wrote alongside Marcos Bernstein the feature film TERAPIA DA VINGANÇA, a film currently in production by Hungry Man, TUDO OU NADA, a series that won the SEBRAE/ESCOLA DE SERIES competition and A SEGUNDA VEZ, a series produced by Conspiração Filmes and shown on the Multishow channel. Recently as an editor, he made the film TODAS AS MELODIAS.
